A Small Town Event with a Big Heart

Be the Change: Run for Mental Health is a community-powered fundraiser happening September 6, 2025, in Sundre, Alberta. It features a 6K run for adults, a Mini Run for kids, and an optional foam pit near the finish line — all designed to bring people together for a good cause and a great time.

But this event is about more than just running.

It’s about hope, healing, and showing up for those struggling with their mental health.

Why We're Running

Mental health impacts us all. Whether you’ve faced challenges yourself or supported someone who has, you know how important accessible care is — and how hard it can be to find. That’s why every dollar raised goes to support Burden Bearers, a local non-profit offering professional counselling to those who need it most.

Your participation helps:

  • Fund sessions for individuals and families in crisis

  • Reduce the stigma around mental health conversations

  • Create visibility and community support for mental wellness initiatives

This isn’t just a race — it’s a movement.
